Increased noise from railway

Over the last couple of weeks the noise of trains passing through Sydenham Station has increased hugely - the trains in question are the ones that don't stop. The banging from the tracks is so loud every time one gos through. Has anyone else noticed this and any ideas what we can do - one of my neighbours has emailed TFL but has only received an acknowledgement email in reply, which is not much use!

Thank you - I am going to see if I can find out more from the station then, as a first resort.
