The premises comprise a working brewery located within an industrial unit at Orchard Business Centre, Kangley Bridge Road. The primary use of the premises is the production of beer on site. A small ancillary taproom is proposed within a defined area of the premises for the sale and on-site consumption of beer produced at the brewery. The taproom will operate on a limited basis with a seated, relaxed environment and will remain secondary to the primary brewing function. The licensed area is clearly identified on the submitted plan and consists of an internal seating area and an external seating area. The bar/serving area is staff-operated and not accessible to the public. All production, storage and operational areas are restricted to staff only. The premises are located within an industrial estate and are not intended to operate as a public house, late-night bar or entertainment venue.
