Quick heads up to those that have and those considering a 5k Parkrun, but Crystal Palace Parkrun celebrates it's second anniversary, which has been delayed by a week due to an existing event in the park and will now happen on Saturday 2nd June.

For those tempted to give it a try, you must register for free: http://www.parkrun.org.uk/register and be ready for a 9am start next to the cafe in Crystal Palace Park. Race it, run it, jog it, the aim is to get people active in a friendly local environment. Just don't forget your printed off bar-code once registered, to get your results online.

i've done this before, and itt's very sociable (and to some extent) enjoyable.
It caters for all ability levels

Hope some locals came along on Saturday to run and well done all who did or helped out.

Largest field of runners to date for Crystal Palace (barring recent club vs club mob matches), of 105 finishers. Some fancy dress to celebrate the day and the royal weekend.
