Yesterday was the 28th anniversary of thee murder of Daniel Morgan in the Golden Lion car park. The family has not yet let a year go by without trying to get to the bottom of this crime which has undergone five different investigations by the various police forces and government departments without success. It is a story of police corruption and collusion with the underworld. It is a story of incompetence and cover up.
Yesterday’s BBC Radio 4 ‘Today’ programme featured a further call by new independent panel chair Baroness O’Loan for witnesses to come forward and help find a final explanation for this deed. Something which could put the perpetrators where they should belong.
