Former Border Road resident Rolf Harris has been charged with three additional alleged sexual offences earlier this week to add to the sixteen charges made in August 2013. Some of these relate to the time the artist artist and entertainer lived in Sydenham involving young teenage and pre-teen girls. These allegations are part of investigation Yewtree arising from the Jimmy Savile inquiry.
Rolf was well remembered for his support of the charitable work for the former Rotary Club od forest Hill & Sydenham and the studio he built at the rear of the two town houses he and his mother shared. Rolf, now 83, lives in Bray, Berkshire. He has been bailed to appear at Southwark Court on January 14th with the trial planned to start on April 30th.
UPDATE: Rolf pleaded not guilty to 12 charges at the January 14th hearing and remains on bail until the trial expected to start April 30th.
