Street A Week Hits Sydenham

Driven by Safer Neighbourhood Teams working in partnership with Lewisham Council since November each team has been given a street a week in areas within their ward to focus on.

This week Safer Neighbourhoods Teams will be in Sydenham with the Neighbourhood Community Safety Service actively engaging with residents and business’s in the locations below offering crime prevention advice and information in the area on residential security, business crime and associated anti social behaviour.

22 May 2013 – Dartmouth Road – 3pm – 12 am
23 May 2013 – Kirkdale – 3pm – 12 am
24 May 2013 – Longton Avenue/Longton Grove – 3pm – 12 am
25 May 2013 – Longfield Crescent – 3pm – 12 am
26 May 2013 – Dartmouth Road – 12 pm – 9 pm
28 May 2013 – Sydenham park road – 7 am – 4pm
29 May 2013 – Kirkdale – 7 am – 4 pm
30 May 2013 – Longton Avenue/Longton Grove – 7 am – 4 pm
31 May 2013 – Longfield Cresecent – 3 pm – 12 am

Team commented:

“The aim of street a week is to deal with members of the public
directly to provide a better level of support. With the Neighbourhood
Community Safety Service we want to resolve the problems immediately by
providing people with information on how to protect their home and
businesses and what agencies they should get in touch with for help.”
