Meanwhile On the Hoof Sydenham Road closes on Sunday 14th December. Already gone is the cafe in the Dragonfly studio. They are now at Kingswood House: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingswood_House

Just to pop on for updates that may be of interest:
On the hoof has just opened as “Saka Maka” with a brilliant looking menu from the 2nd branch of an award winning Indian Restaurant initially in Hither Green. 3pm-10pm 7 days a week. £5 corkage for BYOW too. Assume they will redecorate etc over the forthcoming weeks/months.
Leo’s - the plant based cafe inside the yoga studio which briefly moved to Kingswood House (now in administration) appear to be taken over the space where Mamma Doughs was. They had a big community aspect with social gatherings, music, well-being events as well as have a catering business alongside the cafe. Assume will be a similar setup at 299 Kirkdale.
Gutted by some of the closures but very grateful these two places are being taken over by something different to what’s on the high street / something many people may use (rather than something niche).
Support when and if able for the new businesses!
