Hey, since Mandami got elected in NY I’m beginning to question is Sadiq Khan. Is he a dilettante in power to keep the status quo? I’ve been waiting for proper cycle hire here for years and now I believe it is his lack of ambition to change anything outside of zone 2. Has he done anything notable?

An opportunity has been lost to extend the Santander Cycles scheme into more of South London instead leaving it to the wild west of private bike hire companies. Lime and Forest are allowed to trade in Lewisham but are more expensive than the TfL bikes.

Let’s hope there is another loss for labour to the greens at the election. Ken Livingston for all his faults (I’ve never forgiven him for getting rid of the routemaster and blaming disabled people) had some serious plans and ambitions for London including the tram extensions. Khan has done nothing in 2 terms
