Post by LouisaM »

Maths for mums in a friendly + informal environment with a cuppa + cake!

Do you find maths a bit scary or are you just slightly baffled by the modern methods used to teach your little ones?
If so, come + join us! Dads are welcome too!

Sessions are available either as part of a group or individually.

This sounds very interesting!

Will you be offering drop in sessions somewhere and how much will you be charging?

Many thanks.

Hi!

The sessions are held at my home in Sydenham.

I run a course of 5 one hour sessions (one per week) during each half term at a cost of £10 per hour. Alternatively, sessions can be attended in isolation at £12 per session. The sessions are held during the school day to avoid any interruptions!

Each session focuses on a different topic e.g. pencil and paper techniques for addition and subtraction.

The course is based on maths taught at Key Stage 1 and 2.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any other information.

Just had a wonderful lesson with Louisa. Highly recommended for maths-phobe mums like me!
