Summer Holiday Clubs?

Post by lbere »

Hi,

Does anyone know of any holiday clubs, Lewisham Council do not seem to be funding any this year, credit crunch I imagine.

I have two boys, 12 and 9 who are into sports.

Many thanks

Lbere - no doubt you have already looked on lewisham council's website: www.lewisham.gov.uk/summeralive. You could also try contacting Family Information Service (FIS): 0800 085 0606 OR www.lewisham.gov.uk/fis.

Don't know whether they list free events.

Good luck.

Lewisham have just launched their Summer Activity Course Website:

http://ow.ly/ggv9

Not your boring sports activities, ie. Make your own Greek salad, Film Clubs and Paper Making clubs....

Mummycat, I love you!!!!!

I was thinking that I was going to have to ask for unpaid leave during the summer to look after my children.

Not only is the sports free, its in Mayow Park, what more could a mum ask for.

Thank you
