Hello.
Does anybody know of a dentist in the local/surrounding area that is open on a sunday?
I desperately need to make an appointment.
Many thanks.

Bell Green cinema?
Hi all.
Is anyone able to clarify whether a cinema is going to be built in Bell green?
I have heard through the grape vine that this may be the case, I do hope so!!
Many thanks.

Do we just turn up for any of the activities or do some need to be pre-booked?
Thanks.

Re: Sydenham Market - Saturday, 10th May
I would definitely attend if there was entertainment such as a puppet show etc. My children would want to go and see it and therefore we would browse around the market(without them being fed up and moaning), and probably go for a milkshake in one of the cafes as well. A bouncy castle(not sure where ...

Many thanks.

This sounds like fun! Please could you post details of the high street trick or treat event. I haven't seen it advertised anywhere this year. Thanks.

Cornerstone preschool?
Hi. I am looking for a review of cornerstone pre school on Jews walk. Does anyone have any experience of using this place? Would you recommend it? Any information would be much appreciated. Also can anyone recommend any other preschools that are within easy walking distance of Jews walk? [ Post made...

Re: New chippy and kebab shop
The staff are very friendly and it looks nice both inside and out. However the fish and chips were too greasy and therefore rather soggy. I do hope it's just a teething problem as you could tell the food was fresh.

Re: Decent Hairdressers in Sydenham
In my opinion there are 3(that I know of) very good hairdressers at Mastercutters. They could give any other hairdresser a run for their money(Sean, Lauren and another guys name who I can't remember). Unfortunately there seems to be a few very bad ones as well. One of the girls ruined my daughters h...

Has anyone on the forum ever eaten at Spice Society in Beckenham?
If so how does the Lemon Tree compare?
I have not had an Indian meal which compares to the quality of Spice Societys food.
Would like to go for a meal at Lemon Tree but do not want to be disappointed.

I wish you luck with your business venture. However £6 for 30 minutes seems extortionate to me. I guess some people have more money than sense!

Re: Zebra Crossing on the Bridge by Sydenham Station
I completely agree about the crossing at Newlands park. Those crossing the road can't see when the cars are turning and the amount of times cars have to suddenly stop or pedestrians end up running across to dodge cars is ridiculous. I would never cross over there as it is an accident waiting to happ...

Re: Mermaid chippy & Kirkdale Express drycleaners
I have to admit that I travel out of the area to buy fish and chips. I remember many years ago that it used to be a fairly nice fish and shop shop, however I would not buy from there now. The last time I went in was over 2 years ago and the food did not taste nice at all. Also it does not look very ...
